An aura is an energetic field that surrounds the physical body of a person and other living beings.
In various esoteric teachings, religious traditions, and cultures, the aura is described as a multilayered shell that radiates light. It is believed to consist of seven bodies (layers): the physical (through which the soul experiences the physical world), etheric, astral, mental, causal (karmic), buddhic, and atmic (celestial or the body of the Higher Self).
It is important to understand that all layers (bodies) interact with one another and directly influence a person, their state, and their perception of themselves and the surrounding environment.
In form, the aura resembles a cocoon or an oval, similar to an egg: like a shell, it is the first to absorb impact, which is why issues become visible in it before they are felt internally.
If the aura is whole, then the physical body is also fully healthy. Disturbances, however, indicate problems caused by magical influences or other negative factors coming from outside.
The color of the aura is most often perceived in meditative practices, but there are also people with the ability to see it almost immediately (such as shamans, clairvoyants, and spiritualists). If its color is bright and saturated, the person is healthy and in a harmonious state. Sometimes dullness or slight darkening can be seen — this indicates a temporary influence, such as mood changes. However, if one of the layers is dark (almost black), has cracks or “breaks,” it means the person has received an energetic impact on a certain level, and a full diagnosis is needed to resolve the issue.
The aura is affected not only by external factors such as interaction with energy vampires or constant arguments and conflicts, but also by feelings of anger, fear, excessive physical or emotional overload, harmful habits, and being in energetically polluted places.
Traditionally, it is believed that the color and state of the aura can reveal a person’s character, health, abilities, talents, and karmic tasks of the soul. It is like a calling card that contains complete information about the individual and their functioning in space as a unit of the greater Universe.
We want to emphasize that the aura is not a static form. It constantly changes depending on our thoughts, experiences, emotions, and external circumstances, making it a dynamic reflection of a person’s real state. Therefore, the aura can be classified as a key to self-knowledge, healing, and the restoration of energetic wholeness.
