Ukrainian Tarot

Ukrainian Tarot brings together eleven editions from entirely different systems — classic Rider-Waite alongside original themed decks and even humorous ones. They share exactly one thing: the guide and card names are printed in Ukrainian. Prices in the selection start at 595 hryvnias.

This same section of the catalog often goes by a simpler name — Tarot in the Ukrainian language. The meaning is the same, just a different way of naming it.

What Ukrainian Tarot editions have in common — why this isn't one system

Ukrainian Tarot isn't a separate divination system — it's a language category of the catalog. It includes editions from different schools and even different genres: strict classics, original themed decks, humorous variants. What unites them is the practitioner who wants to read card meanings and work with a deck in Ukrainian, rather than translating the terminology themselves from Russian or English.

This is a fundamental difference from the Rider-Waite Tarot page, which covers edition variants of one system regardless of language. Here it's the reverse. The language of the edition is the main criterion, and the system itself is a secondary detail the practitioner picks once the language question is settled.

Within this page, a practitioner will find both strictly canonical editions and lively experimental ones. A Ukrainian Tarot deck is just as legitimately the classic Rider-Waite as it is a deck like «Woof-Woof» or «Cat Tarot» — whichever fits the practitioner's intention and mood.

Classic systems in a Ukrainian edition

Five editions in the selection keep the structure and symbolism of recognized systems, only the language is Ukrainian. This is the choice for a practitioner who wants a proven system, no experiments with form or symbolism — just no language barrier between the guidebook and their own practice.

• Rider-Waite Tarot in Ukrainian and Waite-Smith Tarot in Ukrainian. The same classic Rider-Waite-Smith deck from 1909 — a detailed breakdown of this system and all its editions lives on a separate page, «Rider-Waite Tarot» — here it's just the Ukrainian-language variant.
• Barbara Moore's Golden Tarot, Ukrainian edition. An original but structurally classic deck with gilded design elements.
• Zodiac Tarot in Ukrainian. This system ties into zodiac signs and planetary houses — a different logic than the traditional Arcana structure. A consultant can explain the difference in more detail for a specific request.
• Learner's Rider-Waite Tarot. A simplified version of the classic for a first introduction to the system — basic meaning cues are printed right on the card's image.

Themed and original decks in Ukrainian

The second layer of the selection is decks that don't claim classic symbolism but keep the Tarot structure. It includes Starlight Tarot, «Magical Tarot: Witchcraft Universe», «Mythological Tarot: World Gods», «Force of Nature», «Independents», and «Boho Tarot». Each is an original system with its own visual language, in Ukrainian for the descriptions and card meanings.

The selection also includes openly playful variants: «Woof-Woof», «Cat Tarot», «Golden Log», «Naked Truth». This isn't a lesser version of the practice — a humorous form works just as well as a tool of images and symbols, it just talks to the reader in a different tone. Some people choose a deck like this specifically for everyday readings, where the seriousness of the classics isn't needed.

Choosing between the classics and a themed deck comes down to a personal response to the imagery. How serious the design looks doesn't affect the quality of a reading — both options work equally well for reading images, the difference is only in the tone.

Talk to a practitioner before choosing a Ukrainian Tarot deck

Eleven editions in different styles — it's easy to get lost between the classics and a themed deck, especially without prior experience with any Tarot system. The simplest option is to write in chat: a practitioner will find out whether you need the classic structure or an experimental form will do.

• Honest advice on the language of the edition. A practitioner will tell you whether the system you want even exists in Ukrainian, and will say so honestly if the closest match is only available in another language.
• Original editions only, no scans or homemade translations. Every deck in the catalog is an official print with quality production.
• Orders are processed and shipped the same day.
• The loyalty program gives a cumulative discount from one to ten percent, promo codes through the newsletter, and a separate discount on the shop's birthday.
• A match between the classics and a themed deck based on the practitioner's own request — the language of the edition is only the first condition, not the only one.

Ukrainian Tarot at Artifacts of the Vedun gets bought both as a gift and for personal practice — the range works equally well for either. Orders are placed on the site, with processing and shipping happening the same day. Prices start at 595 hryvnias and depend on the edition: an original gilded deck costs more than a learner's version. If you're unsure which edition to pick, a consultant will answer in chat before you order.

What people ask about Ukrainian Tarot

Is the classic Rider-Waite Tarot available in Ukrainian?

Yes. The selection includes both Rider-Waite Tarot in Ukrainian and Waite-Smith Tarot in Ukrainian — the same system in two editions. A detailed breakdown of every edition of this system, including the Ukrainian one, lives on a separate page, «Rider-Waite Tarot».

Do humorous decks like «Woof-Woof» work for serious readings?

Yes. How a deck is presented doesn't affect how it works as a tool of images and symbols — the card structure is the same as in classic editions. Choose based on your personal response to the imagery, not how serious the design looks.

How does Zodiac Tarot differ from the classic structure?

This system ties into zodiac signs and planetary houses — a different logic than the traditional Arcana. If you're unsure whether this approach fits your practice, a consultant can explain the difference before you order.

What payment methods are available?

Payment is available by card online, by bank transfer, or in cash at the showroom. Cash-on-delivery orders require a 150-hryvnia prepayment toward shipping.
