Through the symbolism of this mystical Tarot—known as the “Necronomicon,” “Black Grimoire,” or “Book of Shadows”—ancient incunabula attributed to powerful black magicians and sorcerers—emerge hidden signs of fate and concealed images of the past, present, and future.
The creation of the Necronomicon Tarot was inspired by the extraordinary world of literary fantasy—the Grimoire, whether imagined or real—as well as by nightmarish dreams in which these worlds are reflected, forming images deep within the subconscious. It is also possible that the Necronomicon Tarot “Black Grimoire” represents fragments of an ancient sacred book, expressed only through images: a text filled with wisdom and knowledge, conveying symbolic messages in a language similar to dreams.
In the realm of symbols, fantasy literature can serve as an extraordinary source for meditation and for understanding messages born in the depths of the subconscious.
The Necronomicon Tarot “Black Grimoire” is, in its essence, a true Clavicula—a key capable of opening long-forgotten doors into the dark corners of the psyche, doors hidden in shadow and entangled in webs. By opening them, we gain knowledge of our own fears and darker aspects of the soul, as well as awareness of how to balance them in life. These meanings are veiled in symbols that emerge from hidden areas of consciousness, under the cover of darkness, where creative potential often lies imprisoned like an exiled deity sending narrative messages. To free ourselves, we dive into nightmares that transform into dreams.
